We start the inaugural article in this series of public art inspired by comics creators and characters with Marvel Comics' Captain America! 

Originally displayed in Prospect Park in 2016 to mark Cap's 75th anniversary, it moved to the Barclays Center for fan activations, before finally being placed inside the Bed, Bath & Beyond complex at Liberty View Industrial Plaza in Greenpoint.

Comicave offered an edition of 750 1/12 scale bronze replicas for $450 each, and 100 pewter 1/4 scale replicas for $4,000. Is it just me, or does Cap mirror the pose of the Statue of Liberty?

TMZ reports:

Pornhub has shut one man out of enjoying his favorite naked vids to their full potential -- and violating federal law in the process -- so he's filed a class-action lawsuit.

Yaroslav Suris is suing the popular porn site claiming it's denied the deaf and hearing-impaired access to its videos that others can easily enjoy. According to docs, obtained by TMZ, Suris says a lack of closed-captioning violates their rights under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

In docs, Suris says the deaf and hearing impaired can't understand the audio portion of videos on the websites. Some of the titles Suris says he watched but was completely lost on dialogue -- "Hot Step Aunt Babysits Disobedient Nephew," "Sexy Cop Gets Witness to Talk" and "Daddy 4K -- Allison comes to Talk About Money to Her Boys' Naughty Father."

Story prompt: Science fiction sleeper ships

So... Science fiction has that idea of sleeper ships, like in Wrath of Khan...
Sublight speed is too slow to travel between stars, stars are too distant, so you place everyone in deep sleep hibernation, and wake them up in a few hundred years.
